Who is EKB?

Emily Kier-Berendt is an experienced Nutritionist with a demonstrated history of working in the health and fitness industry. She is a registered nutritionist (AfN) with a MSc in Nutrition and BSc in Sports Biomedicine and Nutrition.

Emily works with clients to help them gain a better understanding of nutrition, improve relationships with food and exercise, and build new habits. Emily takes an evidence-based approach, combining the latest research with practical, sustainable solutions for her clients. She uses her 11 years of experience to create a personalised approach to the complex relationship between physical health, performance, and emotional wellbeing. She believes in empowering clients with knowledge and practical tools, helping them navigate nutrition choices with confidence rather than anxiety.

She has been part of team Renee McGregor since June 2020 and has been specialising in RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport) and Disordered Eating. Alongside Renee, she provides nutrition guidance and education for the dancers at English National Ballet.

Emily currently provides the Sport Nutrition lecture at the world famous cheffing school Le Cordon Bleu. She also delivers specialised nutrition talks and workshops at sports clubs, schools, and companies, helping diverse audiences understand how to apply nutritional science to enhance their health and performance.

When not helping people with their nutrition, you can find Emily pursuing her passion for endurance sports. An avid runner and triathlete, she enjoys everything from social 5km runs in Wandsworth to challenging ultramarathons around the world. Her personal experience in various sporting disciplines enriches her understanding of the nutritional demands athletes face at all levels of competition.
